The Jackson 5 (or Jackson Five or J5) was an American popular music family group from Gary, Indiana.
Formed in 1964 under the name the Jackson Brothers, the band was initially made up by Jackie, Tito and Jermaine and some years ago by Marlon and Michael so the group's name would be changed to The Jackson 5. After participating in talent shows band officially formed and immediately stands out for his vocal qualities vocal the very young leader Michael, only 11 years ago. In 1975 Jacksons move to another record label so they have to change their name into "The Jackson".
After leaving of Michael Jackson (who left the band definitely in 1984) and Marlon another borther, Randy, joined, but the group disbanded in 1990 but in September 2001, nearly 17 years after their last performance together, all six Jackson brothers reunited for two performances at Madison Square Garden for a 30th anniversary special commemorating Michael's solo career.
Also their three sisters Rebbie, La Toya, and Janet are professionally singers.
The most successful hits are: "I want you back", "Who's lovin you", "The love you save", "I'll be there", "Shake your body (down to the ground)" , "Blame it on the boogie" , "Can you feel it"
